Owner's Update - January 2003
Thanks for taking the time to visit our website. My apologies for the limited content; we will be adding to the site as 2003 progresses. This year promises to be a very exciting one for Hangers. Our Mission Valley plant is booming as we near our 2nd anniversary. We have received numerous local and national accolades, enjoyed several local television news reports concerning our revolutionary process, and, most important, creating a sizable group of "raving fans" as we care for more and more customers wardrobes. We are also very excited about the opening of our second San Diego location, which should occur by March. It will be located at 645 Front St., in the Renaissance Condominium tower, across from Nordstrom. Additional locations will be announced as they become firm. We are working on locations in the coastal communities, north from Mission Bay to Carlsbad. We are also beginning to formulate our plans for Orange County. Ask about opportunities to be part of our team as an employee, or in an equity/investor capacity. With the ongoing movement in the industry towards a non-hazardous drycleaning operation, Hangers is strategically placed to grow significantly in the near future. Be sure to check page 10 of the February 2003 issue of Consumer Reports; CO2 drycleaning, and more specifically Hangers Cleaners fared very well. I am proud of the fact that Hangers San Diego was one of their tested facilities, and our staff apparently performed flawlessly.
Please direct any questions to me at 619.563.8200, regarding drycleaning service, delivery, employment, expansion plans or our revolutionary technology.
Thanks for visiting.

Owner's Update - July 2003
Thanks for visiting our website. We hope to continue to add information to the site as we grow. The past few months have been extremely busy ones for Hangers. In April, the plant marked it's two year anniversary, having successfully cleaned over 139,000 garments using liquid CO2. That's 139,000 garments in San Diego that were NOT cleaned in a toxic chemical. We are proud of that. On April 21, 2003, our brand new downtown store opened for business at 101 West G Street. As we had done with the plant in 2001, we partnered with San Diego Earthworks by donating $.25 for every drycleaned garment through June 30. The total on that was 3,105 garments yielding a $776.25 donation to that fine organization. These two events made National news in our industry as Hangers was featured in National Clothesline, an industry trade publication. Our California expansion plans may be aided by an Assembly bill that has passed the Assembly and is now proceeding through the Senate AB998 basically attaches a fee to the perchloroethylene used by most cleaners in order to fund grant money for drycleaners purchasing the much more expensive environmentally friendly drycleaning machines. Currently, only San Diegans have convenient access to a facility like Hangers. With the passage of this bill, hopefully many more Californians will be able to enjoy the soft, clean, feel of CO2 cleaned garments.

Owner's Update - December 2003
I am appreciative of the quantity of visitors to our website. I believe it speaks to the concern people have for safe, odor-free, and environmentally freindly care of their clothes. The steady growth we have been enjoying was interrupted in October by the terrible fires our County endured. While Hangers suffered no more than the smoke and ash we all have dealt with, we did have friends who were dealt tremendous losses. Within days we began to pick up tons of fire restoration work. We are proud to have helped several families recover from their damage, and pleased to see how effective our CO2 and Wetcleaning processes are in ridding fabric of smoke odors. We delivered the last of our restoration work on Dec 3, and got back to normal production levels. Shortly before the change of Governors, Gray Davis signed into law AB998, which imposes a fee to perchloroethylene purchases in order to fund Grant money for non-polluting (CO2) conversions. The Governor recognized the trailblazing work Hangers Cleaners is doing in his letter to legislature. It's an honor to know that our efforts, and our revolutionary technology is appreciated in Sacramento. Finally, the Hangers employees and guests enjoyed a wonderful Holiday party to celebrate 2003's successes. We look forward to an even more successful 2004, serving our current customers, and pursuing new locations to serve other neighborhoods. We hope to be able to announce where by summer.
